On April 20, 2017, MYJ Company announced the [ultra-thin, high-precision angle sensor] that is capable of detecting angles with high precision. The expected possible application field is in the joint parts of (precision) robots. According to the information released by the company, compared with the [high-resolution band sensor bearing] jointly developed by the company and agms Bearing Company in 2007, this product can detect the rotation angle with higher precision.
超薄,高精度传感器
The newly developed [ultra-thin, high-precision angle sensor] is composed of two parts: a multi-track magnetic encoder that imparts magnetism to two rows of magnetic tracks with different numbers of poles on a rubber magnetic body that is compound-molded with an annular member, and a magnetic sensor. In the previous encoders, the north poles and south poles were arranged in pairs, with a configuration of 32/31 pole pairs. Through MYJ Company's unique high-precision magnetization technology, a configuration of 64/63 pole pairs has been achieved. As a result of the improved configuration, the angular accuracy has been enhanced from the previous level of ±0.2° that could only be achieved by the previous products to the current level of ±0.1°. At the same time, the weight has also been reduced by 27% compared to the previous products.
Currently, only the radial products have been developed. MYJ stated that axial products will also be developed in the future. In addition, MYJ will not sell the sensors separately. Instead, they plan to sell the sensors integrated with bearings as a set.
